P1 Induction Days for Pupils Starting in August
The information below is for parents of children who have been granted a place in Hillhead Primary P1 starting in August 2016.
PRIMARY 1 INDUCTION DAYS FOR HILLHEAD PRIMARY SCHOOL
Dear Parent/Carer
I would like to invite your child to attend both our Primary One induction days on Thursday 26th May from 9.30-10.45am and Wednesday 1st June from 1:30 – 2:30pm. *
During these times your child will have an opportunity to visit their classroom and will meet their new teacher and the other children in their class. On the 26th May, while the children are in class, there will also be an Induction meeting for parents to provide some practical information about Primary One and the school.
The entrance to the school can be accessed from Kelvin Way near the Gibson Street junction. You will then travel down steps or a ramp and across a courtyard towards the glass doors which leads to our social space and classrooms. We will meet you at the doors and direct you to your child’s class.
On the 1st June, we would appreciate if you could bring your child to school at 1:30pm for a second visit to their class (still using the Kelvin Way entrance) and return to collect them at the same place at 2:30pm.
