Hillhead Eco-committee
Applications for Eco Committee for 2022-2023 are now out. Presentations and voting will be taking place from Monday 12th September. Good luck!
Welcome to the Eco-committee Pupil Group Page!
There are 15 pupil representatives from P3 to P7.
Hillhead is a new school with a bright future and we are keen for that future to be Green & Sustainable. We believe a school such as ours should promote a message that endeavours to positively impact upon the ways in which we care for our planet and this is the journey we have embarked upon.
Environmental Review
Our Eco Committee were awarded the Silver Award by Eco Schools Scotland in October 2013. We are now working towards Green Flag Status which we hope to achieve by the end of this academic year. Staff and pupils are currently focussing on three eco topics; litter, waste minimisation and school grounds. Eco Code
