The Pupil Council at Hillhead Primary
Welcome to the Pupil Council page!
Applications for Pupil Council Representatives for 2022-2023 are now out. Presentations and voting will be taking place over the next two weeks. Good luck!
Comprising 15 children from P3 to P7, the Pupil Council has responsibility of representing the pupils of Hillhead Primary. We discuss the needs, issues and concerns of our pupils with the Depute Head Teacher.
We also have responsibility for encouraging and organising school events which bring the pupils and staff together either for fun, to raise awareness or raise funds for the school.
This year we have discussed the school values and issues in our new school. We have represented the pupils at the Opening Ceremony and organised special lunches with the Catering Staff.
Last session Pupil Council Committee members represented our school at the Glasgow Schools Forum and will continue to do so this session. These meeting will take place at the City Chambers at George Square. Pupil Council members will attend on a rotational basis with a lead member of staff.
