Holiday Weekend

Monday 9 February and Tuesday 10 February are holidays; Wednesday 11 February is an In Service Day. Therefore school is closed to all pupils on these days.

Medicine in Schools

We have procedures in place for pupils who require to take medicine during school time. Part of the procedures are that parents must complete a form issued by the School Office to accompany any request that medicine be administered during school time.

No child should being in medicine (prescribed or non-prescribed) without the parent/carer completing the necessary paperwork.

Please note the school does not have a School Nurse on our premises. School Nurses visit the school on scheduled dates to carry out specific tasks like height and weight checks.

Please remember that we are having our Annual Fundraiser on Friday 20 February in the morning. Sponsor forms were sent home on Friday 30 January. Thank you once again for your support with this.

Lunch Arrears

As you know our school catering service, operated by Cordia, runs on a cashless system. Parents have two options. To either preload their child’s card online to pay for school lunches (P4-P7) and/or the Breakfast Club (P1-P7) or money can be added to the card by putting money into the machines located just outside the Dinner Hall.

Recently we have had to write to a number of parents requesting payment because there has been no money on their child’s card and arrears have built up. This is time consuming and undermines the purpose of the cashless system. We would be grateful if all parents paid for their children’s meals via the online facility or by using the machines.
